It’s that time of year for spring cleaning, and you know what that means… The Denton Yard Sale is coming up!! 🛍️🎉 June 6, 2026 from 8am-12pm
Many of you already know the rules, but if you’re new here or just need a refresher, here’s how it works:
Twice a year, we host a HUGE community yard sale right here on the FarmPark property! Shopping is completely FREE for everyone who comes out to browse. If you’d like to set up and sell, it’s just **$10 per load**.
Here’s what we mean by “per load”:
• An unloaded truck with a loaded trailer = 1 load
• A car/van loaded with items = 1 load
• A loaded truck with a loaded trailer = 2 loads
⚠️ CASH ONLY — please be prepared to hand payment to our staff as you drive into the park. We will NOT be reserving spots or booking tables for this, it is strictly first come first serve.
Once inside, you may set up along the roadsides in the grass and use the amount of space you NEED. Bring your own tables, blankets, chairs, tents, or anything else you may need for your setup — we provide the location and advertise the sale for you!
Now for a few important rules and reminders:
🧹 Please clean up after yourselves. Anything you do not sell MUST leave with you at the end of the day. There is a dump off Hwy 109 and a scrap yard just down the road, so you don’t have to take unwanted items home — but they cannot stay here.
🚻 Our bath houses will be cleaned and fully stocked that morning. Please help us keep them as clean as possible throughout the day, and remember that trash belongs in trash bins.
🚫 THIS IS A YARD SALE ONLY.
Custom/craft vendors, MLMs, and small businesses are NOT permitted to set up with handmade or retail items during this event. We host many other opportunities throughout the year for those types of vendors! The purpose of this event is to help families declutter, clean out unwanted items, and enjoy some bargain shopping.
💲 Keep prices fair and affordable! The better the deals, the more likely your items are to sell — and the less you’ll have to take back home.
🚫 GOLF CART POLICY 🚫
We understand that the FarmPark is a large property and many people may want to bring golf carts to get around. However, golf carts and personal utility vehicles will NOT be allowed inside the yard sale area.
To help make shopping easier, our staff will be available on carts throughout the day to assist shoppers with transporting larger items back to their vehicles so that personal vehicles do not drive into the sale area before 12:00 PM.
Other than authorized staff carts used for assistance, no carts will be permitted inside the yard sale area. Please remember — this is a community yard sale, and these rules are in place to help keep everyone safe and traffic flowing smoothly.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
📍 Sellers may arrive NO EARLIER than 6:00 AM at either:
1072 Cranford Rd
OR
4259 Handy Rd
Denton, NC 27239
The sale officially begins at 8:00 AM, so please try to be set up and ready by then. Shoppers will park in the main parking lots and walk in the gates to keep cars from driving in the shopping areas.
If anyone in town would like to place homemade signs directing traffic toward the FarmPark, we would greatly appreciate it!
A few final reminders:
• Please be respectful of others
• Children must be supervised at all times
• No climbing or playing on equipment/buildings
• Children may play in the grass pit area while supervised
• No fishing allowed during the yard sale
• The office will be closed and phones will not be answered
• Denton FarmPark is not responsible for accidents, damages, or lost/stolen items
Our staff members volunteer their time on their days off to help make this community event happen. Anyone selling as a vendor, causing problems, or creating an unsafe or disrespectful environment will be asked to leave immediately. While this may not be one of our traditional events, our family-friendly reputation still stands and will always be important to us.
We hope everyone has a wonderful day full of great deals, fun finds, and community fellowship! ❤️
