Today is a big day for me, and I'm feeling all the feels. On this day in 1996, 28 years ago, I joined the Close To My Heart family as a brand new 23-year old demonstrator. Words can't describe how being part of CTMH has changed and enriched me. I'm a better, stronger, more confident person because of my time with CTMH. I love the friendships I've made, the experiences I've had, the growth I've discovered, the trips I've earned and taken my husband on, the Conventions and Leadership conferences I've taught at, and the many ways I've been able to serve others and experience deep joy in multiple realms. These pictures are just a sampling of thousands I have through the years. CTMH will forever be a big part of my life, and I'm grateful to my core for every part of that journey. Although the company has closed, it will never be truly gone because of the pieces it leaves behind in so many people's lives, including my own.
I joined Stampin' Up on April 2nd and officially started my brand new business with them on May 1st. What a whirlwind first month it has been, but OH SO GOOD in so many ways! I built a strong and beautiful team with CTMH over 28 years, and the majority of them moved with me to SU! But I'm also very blessed that many others asked to join me in the transition, and my new Stampin' Up team ended our first month with over 200 team members, including many leaders. What a blessing they are to me! Any challenges and frustrations I experienced during the transition are long gone. Negativity has been left behind on every level and I truly feel like this beautiful new chapter has begun. I'm moving forward with joy and strength, and these amazing team members are coming with me and bringing their gifts and talents with open hearts and so much gratitude. What a powerhouse group of people they are!
Lastly, this morning Stampin' Up publicly announced their CTMH Demonstrator Council...a group of former CTMH Makers who came to SU!, who will be assisting them with onboarding and helping make this transition smooth for those coming from Close to My Heart. I'm humbled to have been asked to serve as one of eleven on this council, and look forward to working with these amazing women as we serve our former CTMH friends worldwide. The fact that the announcement came on my 28th anniversary makes today perfect.
I'm grateful to my team and customer friends who have moved forward to SU! with me with strength and support, and who have made this transition so much easier than I expected. And to my incredible husband, Bill, who has been at my side from day one. His love, support and incredible counsel during the tough times have been invaluable to me as I have navigated this new step in my life and career. I love you deeply, sweet man. You are strong and steadfast, and a true blessing to me.
