In 1998 I began my career in local live TV in Chattanooga, TN with FOX and continue my career now in Denver but not until after spending 4 and a half years in the Blues capital of the world, Memphis, TN. I have worked directly with a variety of names such as Tom Arnold, Dan Marino, Chazz Palminteri, Joe Sakic, Oliver North, "The Big Show"(WWE) to music legends like Tito Jackson, Bobby Blue Bland to Billy Dean and John Oats and including newbies like North Mississippi Allstars, One Republic and Numerous American Idol contestant's like Ace Young and Brooke White. From the start I was learning and soaking in everything I could about studio cameras, audio engineering, graphic design, computers, directing, multi-source production switchers, Multi Camera remote live shots, Avid, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, videography, lighting and am now accomplished enough to direct up to six straight hours of newscasts with crews up to 15+ people including multiple microwave and satellite shots. Then in 2008 I started my hand at Music and Photo-Journalism. My 1st shoot I produced with Big Head Todd and The Monsters, really just consisted of borrowing some friends equipment and jumping in feet first. My productions ranged from one camera shoots in the field to multi camera shoots in the studio with a full crew. I was fortunate to land interviews with some other great names such as Drew Emmit(leftover Salmon), Billy Nershi(String Cheese Incident), "Dr. Banjo" Pete Warnik(Hot Rise), Damon Wood and Fred Thomson(James Brown/Harmonious Junk), Great American Taxi, Rose Hill Drive, 3OH!3 and Flobots.org to be featured on various websites like myfoxcolorado.com, 2thedeuce.com, KDVR.com and KWGN.com. In 2011 I decided to take everything I learned and start my own name/small business and call it Digital Media Tvision. A grassroots online media/production group highlighting the Colorado music scene, as of right now, but we aspire to do and be so much more.
