Bailey Surface is amazing! Wonderful Review!
Hi Bailey!
John & I are still talking about our fabulous stay at Capitol Hill B&B. As a matter of fact, I’m drinking out of my coffee cup this morning, wishing I was still at the table chatting with the others. It was a wonderful two nights there; the hospitality is top notch!! We’ve told everyone how incredible the food was & about the beauty of the home. We will get our reviews in this week for social media. Our flight home Tuesday was delayed 4 hours, so we spent way too much time in the airport, getting home at 1am. Last week was a blur getting caught up.
When we left you on Sunday, we went to the Denver Art Museum for a few hours. We loved it so much and only finished 1 building that we stopped by on Tuesday to kill a few hours before going to the airport! Boulder was great as well. Needless to say, the hotel was a disappointment compared to the B&B! lol They could use some help on how to cook bacon!
We spent all day Monday in the Rocky Mountains. We walked around Bear Lake for a bit, and it was snowing. Just beautiful. We did more driving than hiking in order to see as much as we could. The views were amazing. Estes Park and the small towns going into the mountains were adorable & on our list to explore the next time we visit. We both agreed, our trip was too short. However, we did manage to purchase enough souvenirs to warrant running into Target & getting another suitcase. Which works out – we gave to my daughter who is always borrowing our biggest one. 😊
We did stop by Wax Trax Records on our way to the airport as well! John came home with a few new records for his collection – Jeff Beck, Neil Young & a limited edition of 10,000 # Grateful Dead boxed set that he did not have!! We almost stopped by just to say hi when we passed by.
Thank you again for being an amazing host. It was so much fun getting to chat with others around the table and connecting with others. Life gets too busy and your table was the perfect place to take a breath and enjoy being with people. We will be back! I told John we need to book the Elk Thistle or Shooting Star. So happy to have met you. Old souls just make the world a better place.
Have a wonderful week & we are off to the beach on Sunday with John’s daughter & husband and the 3 ½ & 1 ½ year olds. A week of doing nothing but playing in the sand.
