From the first impression of a beautifully prepared room to the countless thoughtful touches that often happen behind the scenes, their work creates comfort, care and connection for guests and fellow associates alike.

Today, we celebrated Sage’s inaugural Purpose in Action Awards, a new company-wide recognition program created to honor the people who bring our purpose to life every day.

From hundreds of nominations, we recognized 31 recipients across Sage Hotel Management, Sage Restaurant Concepts, Commercial, Finance & Accounting, People & Culture and Home Office. Their stories showed up in many ways: developing others, finding better ways forward, creating meaningful experiences and leading with genuine care.

We are proud to celebrate Matt Schwartz, Sage Hospitality Group’s Chief Technology Officer, who has been named the 2026 Colorado Enterprise CIO of the Year by the Colorado ORBIE Awards.

Matt’s leadership extends far beyond technology. He has helped build the systems, data and security foundations that allow our teams to work smarter, make stronger decisions and create exceptional experiences for our guests. He approaches innovation thoughtfully, always focused on how technology can better serve people and support our business.

Just as importantly, Matt leads with curiosity, collaboration and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. He continues to challenge Sage to think differently, move forward with confidence and Lead Boldly into the future.

Pride Month is a celebration of authenticity, belonging and the power of community. Throughout June, our associates came together across our portfolio to celebrate, share their stories and create welcoming spaces where people could show up exactly as they are.

At Sage, we believe hospitality begins with people. It’s found in the way we welcome one another, celebrate our differences and create experiences that help every person feel seen, valued and connected. That’s how we enrich lives, one experience at a time.

We’re incredibly grateful to our LGBTQIA+ associates, whose leadership, creativity and authenticity help shape our culture every day. Thank you for making Sage a stronger, more compassionate place to work and for creating experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways.
