IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Octobearfest 2016 has been cancelled for this year. The Board of Directors of the Front Range Bears, its sponsors, recently met to discuss the event. Due to the lack of volunteers, and low registration, they felt it was best to cancel the event this year. For those indiviudals who pre-registered for the event, you should have received an email from us, giving you information about the full refunds you will be receiving, and how to handle your room reservation. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation is causing you, but we were not comfortable presenting to you an event that didn't measure up to our standards.
In regards to future years, there will be a discussion meeting on Saturday, July 23rd at 3pm at the Ramada Inn. Please attend the meeting or send your comments to [email protected].
The club is also looking into the feasibility of hosting a party on Saturday, October 1st, and this will be part of the discussion at that meeting.
Again, we are sorry to make this announcement. We welcome all comments either here on Facebook, or by emailing chairman@octobearfest. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

OBF is scheduled to sell Jell-O shots at the Wrangler, this Saturday night, July 9th. We are looking for Volunteers to assist with the preparation of the Shots on Friday at 6:00 pm at the Bar, and also volunteers to assist with the selling of the shots beginning at 9:30 pm on Saturday. If you are able to help out with either or both, please let us know either through Facebook or an email to [email protected]. Thanks.

OBF is selling Jell-O shots at the Wrangler on Saturday night. We need volunteers to help make them on Friday at 6 pm at the bar and sell them starting at 930 on Saturday. If you can assist either night, please let us know. We appreciate it very much

OBF 2016 is bringing back the Silent Auction Fundraiser this year. This event will featured donated items from the community for attendees to bid on, with the proceeds going to a Non-Profit. We need your help. First, we need recommendations for a receipent for the Silent Auction. They must be a registered 501 C, preferably in Colorado Second, we need a coordinator for the auction, and Third, we need donations of all types for the auction.

Please let us know your recommendations for the organization to receive the benefits. We need your recommendation by June 20th. The committee will make their decision on June 25th.

We are still planning on holding the meeting today at my house. Address is 1175 Vine Street, Denver, CO 80206 - near Cheesman Park. It is the Parkville Condos - buzz me on the intercom when you arrive, and I will give your the entry code. The roads in this area are very clear - nothing sticking to them at the moment. I understand Aurora got a lot of snow, so use your judgement. If you are not attending, just let me know so we won't be expecting you. Thanks.

Gentlemen,

It is amazing to see and hear the compliments about this weekend. This event was absolutely incredible! Thank you to our committee, volunteers, hotel staff, sponsors and of course our wonderful attendees!
