ss Nationals is only about 39 miles straight down the road on well known State Highway Route 8. Cooperstown, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum is only 56 miles from the Bed & Breakfast and it is an awesome senic ride. Our back yard is adjacent to over 7 thousand acres of state land at the Steam Mill State Forest in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York. The Finger Lakes Trails are in walking distance, and this area is one of the nations 5th best spots for trout fishing on the west branch of the Delaware River. Snowmobilers need not trailer your sleds from the Bed & Breakfast because trails are right at our back door. Snowmobile trails are marked and trail maps are available. The awesome Susquehanna River is 12 miles straight down the road in Sidney, New York. The Susquehanna River starts in Cooperstown, New York and ends at Chesapeake Bay, Maryland and is notorious for it's kayaking, canoeing and boating events yearly. Also in Sidney, New York is the East Sidney Lake where more boating, swimming, water skiing etc. During your stay at our Bed & Breakfast, we will feed you before you take off and feed you when you get back. Thirsty? No problem! We will be stocked up and ready. We have 7 beds available (6 twin and 1 queen), 2 queen size sleeper sofas that sleeps 2 each and a roll-away bed that is also available to you. Lodge has a huge wood burning stove, nice bathroom with shower, kitchen area with coffee pots and brand new full size fridge w/ freezer, kitchen table & chairs, 2 full size couches, 3 recliners and 2 TV's, each with a VCR/DVD (many VHS movies to choose from and feel free to bring your own). Land line phone in lodge. Breakfast is included each day of your stay and supper is available upon request at an additional charge. We do bacon or sausage and eggs, coffe, juice, milk and pancakes. Not the ever-so-unimpressive continental breakfast! After hour "to go" beverages. We offer a fun, relaxed and happy atmosphere for our guests and we enjoy your staying here as much as you will enjoy being here. Totally private lodge seperate from the house with your own private entrance. Plenty of parking and huge garage to park your sleds in for peace of mind over night saftey. In most cases, we also offer mechanical and rescue help if you need repairs or if you get stuck or break down on the trails.
