Meet the building. 🏛️
For more than a century, this corner of downtown Des Moines was known as the Hippee Building. And while a lot has changed over the years, much of what makes it special is still here. From the original details outside to the little pieces of history you'll find throughout the hotel.
Today, we're lucky enough to call it Surety. A place to check in, pull up a chair, meet an old friend, or make a new one.
We like to think the building has always had a story to tell. We're happy to be part of its next chapter.
