1. What makes Sam’s different?
Sam’s welcomes and encourages families — including children — to enjoy the waters together. Day passes are $25-30, with children under 4 free, compared to many spas charging $80+ for adults-only access.
2. Where does the hot springs water come from?
Our mineral water rises naturally from deep underground aquifers in Desert Hot Springs, where geothermal heat warms water as it travels through mineral-rich rock layers before surfacing.
3. Can I choose my temperature?
Yes. Four mineral soaking pools range from 98°–104°, so you can find your perfect soak.
4. Relax, reconnect… or both?
Both. Sam’s is perfect for family time, spa days, romantic getaways, and quiet moments to unwind.
5. How long can I stay?
Stay all day and move at your own pace.
Hours:
• Weekdays: 8 AM – 9 PM
• Weekends: 8 AM – 10 PM
6. Luxury or laid-back?
A laid-back escape with its own kind of luxury — palm canopies, shaded seating, secluded pools, and authentic design.
7. What does a perfect visit feel like?
Like time slowing down in a desert oasis. With hotel rooms, tiny homes, and RV sites, many guests turn a visit into a home-away-from-home stay.
8. Does it feel crowded?
No. With six pools and expansive grounds for picnics and gatherings, the space stays open and comfortable.
9. Can I make a full day of it?
Absolutely — coffee, pools, picnics, mineral soaks, sauna, showers, recreation room, and nighttime soaking under the stars.
10. Best time to visit?
Midday — sunshine, available shade, and calmer soaking pools.
