🏖️ Tarpon Beach Gulf Front Park Ribbon Cutting — You’re invited! July 15th at 7:30 a.m. at 3310 Scenic Highway 98 🏖️

The public will soon be able to enjoy 340 feet of additional beach access at the newly completed Tarpon Beach Gulf Front Park thanks to a partnership between the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners, the City of Destin and the Trust for Public Land.

This new beachfront park provides free parking with 49 standard spaces, three ADA-accessible spaces, 29 low-speed vehicle spaces, bathrooms, four pavilions and breathtaking views of the Gulf waters.

The Tarpon Beach Gulf Front Park project is a dedicated effort by the City of Destin and Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners to effectively use tourism revenue and expand public beach access for residents and visitors with a total investment of $16.96 million shared between the City and County.

A Dream Wedding at Crystal Villas A8!

What a special week it has been at Crystal Villas A8! While we’ve been lucky enough to host many honeymooners over the years, we just had a very special "first"—a couple who chose our slice of paradise to officially tie the knot!

Amy and Jason first discovered Destin when they stayed with us in 2025. They fell so in love with the area that they booked their 2026 stay before they even reached home. A few months later, Amy sent me the most exciting email: they decided they were going to get married during their return trip!

Last Tuesday, they said "I do" on the breathtaking beach at The Shore of Crystal Beach Park. It was a stunning ceremony with that signature emerald water as their backdrop.

Watching this sweet couple go from first-time guests to beach bride and groom has been such a joy for us. Congratulations, Amy and Jason! We are so honored to have been your "home base" for such a beautiful beginning. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
