Part 2 of the rocket launch caught off the balcony of Tropic Isles 602!

This is a first! Check out what I’m thinking is a rocket launch caught at sunrise off the balcony of our Tropic Isles condo in Gulf Shores Alabama! I guess we can now add rocket launches and dolphin watching to our list of amenities!!

Rosemary Beach day after Hurricane Isaias

10/11/2026

We spent the day yesterday traveling from Gulf Shores Alabama back to our Florida properties in Fort Walton, Destin, and 30A. Making assessments and setting up the balcony furniture outside! I have to say that our sentiment is the same as everyone else we’ve talked to in the area! We feel so thankful and blessed it’s not as bad as it could have been! We were pretty much unscathed in Gulf Shores and Perdido Key. And all of our Florida properties have a couple days of clean up with minor repairs and will be back in business within the week and some sooner!! Today we are giving our backs a rest and enjoying the sunshine and sand in Perdido Key!

Boy have we been busy preparing for Isaias!! Traveling across Alabama and Florida hauling in balcony furniture and doing our best to weather the storm wherever it makes landfall! Preparing for the worse but hoping for the best!🙏🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
