🏔 These last few days have been full with decorating and cleaning out items in our Living Waters cabin. Our goal with this cabin is for our guests to feel rest while they are visiting and renewed when they leave. We decided to keep the rustic cabin feel, but also incorporate a earthy, nature vibe throughout. Cannot wait to share soon, but for now here is a picture of the finished shelving I shared a preview of last week in our stories. ⁣Love how these walls turned out! This cabin had various wallpaper choices throughout. It had its time, but now we have moved on and we are loving how it’s turned out!

🎣 Each trip to Destin we talk about going fishing. I grew up fishing and I want to pass down that love for it to the girls. After reading multiple positive reviews I decided to book with Captain Rob from L4K Charters and I’m so glad we did. ⁣

We booked our trip on Adam’s birthday and it was such a highlight from our time in Destin. The girls had a blast and caught a lot of fish. Captain Ron was fantastic at helping us bait the hooks and casting in just the perfect areas. He educated us on the different fish and how each were different physically, giving them advantages or disadvantages in the water. To top it all off, we stopped to see a pod of dolphins. They were jumping out of the water and only a few feet from us. Such a fantastic experience that we definitely want to repeat during our next trip.⁣

🏝 We have had a ton of rain this week and then tonight, the skies cleared. The colors in the sky popped, people came out, and it was just beautiful. Honestly, I have really enjoyed the rain as well. Today I just meditated on and thanked God for His power over all creation. Watching the storms cross the ocean, the waves roaring, and feeling the wind whipping is such a beautiful reminder of the strength of our Creator. It’s an amazingly comforting thing and I’m so grateful.⁣

🙌🏻 So yesterday Adam put together our new addition to our Crab Hunter condo where I have spent the majority of my morning. I can glance outside at the ocean waves while digging deep into His word and not worry about interruption. Well, at least the chance of it went down 😂. It was lovely.⁣

🍳This year I was able to spend Mother’s Day with my Mom at the cabin. Such a true blessing! We decided to try out a local restaurant, just down the road from the cabin, called Elvira’s ( ). It did not disappoint. The food was great and the service was excellent! My girls noticed the Christian music playing immediately and it was so encouraging to hear. They made sure each lady left with a rose to celebrate their special day. We loved it and will definitely make a return trip! 💐⁣
