Hurricane Recovery Update | Saturday, October 10, 2026 - 10:30am CDT
We appreciate the continued patience, understanding and good wishes from our owners and guests as we work toward reopening Pelican Beach following the hurricane.
The good news is that our properties have fared well overalL, with relatively minor cleanup needed in some amenity and beach access areas. Our primary challenge now is the restoration of essential utility services.
At this time, the resort remains without electrical power and water service. This affects critical building safety systems, elevators and our ability to safely welcome guests back to the property.
Unfortunately, our reopening timeline is largely dependent upon the power company's restoration efforts. Until service is restored and we can complete the necessary safety and operational assessments, we cannot establish a reliable reopening date.
For Guests with Upcoming Reservations
The Pelican Beach Management front desk is also currently without power and telephone service, limiting our ability to respond to individual inquiries.
We ask guests scheduled to arrive over the next several days to closely monitor communications regarding their reservations from the rental management in which they made their reservation. We will also continue posting pertinent updates through our page and website as additional information becomes available.
Our management team continues to monitor conditions, coordinate recovery efforts and assess what will be needed to safely resume operations as quickly as possible.
Our goal is simple: to get you back to enjoying your Pelican Beach vacation as soon as it is safe to do so.
We recognize the uncertainty this creates for guests with upcoming travel plans, and we sincerely appreciate your patience. While some aspects of recovery are beyond our control, our commitment to the safety and well-being of our owners, guests and team members remains our highest priority.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Pelican Beach soon.
