The storm came through, but the Emerald Coast doesn’t stay down long 🌊

The water’s already back to that green we all love, the dunes are holding strong, and the pelicans clearly didn’t get the memo that anything happened. Mother Nature’s doing what she does best: healing herself, one sunrise at a time.

Our favorite local spots are opening their doors again, the grills are fired up, and the porch lights are on. The beach is calling, and we’re ready to welcome y’all back with open arms.

We made it through Isaias. 🌊

The last few days took everybody pulling together, and we’re grateful for every one of y’all.

To our team, homeowners and vendors: thank you for showing up and getting to work.

To our guests: thank you for rolling with the changes. Your patience meant a lot, and we can’t wait to have you back on the beach.

To the linemen and first responders: you’ve been working around the clock, and we see it.

There’s still work to do to get back to normal. We’re putting in the hours to get every home ready for our next guests and we’ll keep you posted.

Isaias is here.

It’s pitch black and the wind is roaring like a freight train that won’t pass. Trees are snapping all around us. You can’t see a thing, but you can hear every one of them go.

This is the real deal, folks. If you’re still out, get in. If you’re in, stay there.

Isaias arrives tonight. If you’re in an evacuation zone, please don’t wait. 🌀

As of 7 AM, Isaias has 110 mph winds and is close to becoming a major hurricane. It’s about 245 miles south of Pensacola, moving north-northeast at 15 mph, with landfall expected tonight or early Saturday.

What to expect along Destin and 30A:
🌊 Storm surge of 6–9 ft from the Alabama line to Grayton Beach, 4–7 ft east of Grayton
🌧️ 4–8 inches of rain, up to 15 in spots
🌪️ Tornadoes possible starting this afternoon
⚠️ Life-threatening surf and rip currents. Stay off the beach.

Mandatory evacuations are in effect for Okaloosa County Zones A and B and Walton County Zones A, B and C. Walton’s shelter is open at Freeport High School, and it takes pets.

Guests with upcoming stays: we’re texting you directly about your reservation. Please follow local officials.
