First, we sincerely appreciate the many kind messages, expressions of concern, and positive wishes we've received as Hurricane Isaias approached our area. Your thoughtfulness means a great deal to our entire Pelican Beach family.
As the storm passes, our immediate priority will be assessing conditions throughout the resort and ensuring the safety of our owners, guests, and team members.
We ask for your patience as our team takes the necessary time to inspect the property, evaluate access, power, elevators, safety systems, and any cleanup needs before determining when normal operations can safely resume.
For guests with upcoming reservations: We understand your concerns about scheduled arrivals, cancellations, and travel plans. At this early stage, the best guidance we can offer is to allow the rental management company or booking provider through which you made your reservation time to assess conditions and determine when they can safely welcome guests back.
We know many of you are anxious for answers, and we will share updates on resort conditions, progress, and anticipated timetables as soon as reliable information becomes available.
As daylight arrives and we gain a clearer understanding of conditions, we'll be in a better position to communicate next steps.
