We truly have some of the best guests on the planet! ❤️ We were just gifted the most thoughtful—and beautifully artful—cookbook!

During their five-day getaway to Detroit from Nebraska, our wonderful guests made a stop at John K. King Used & Rare Books. Among more than a million books, they told us they found the perfect one to capture the spirit of their stay at the Cochrane House—a beautiful montage of art, food, culture, and heritage.

What an incredibly thoughtful way to say “thank you” and commemorate their Detroit experience and time with us. It’s gestures like these that make hosting so special. ❤️
