Some of my most favorite things about Spring…
…the little frogs at the pond and then the sounds of the big bullfrog letting us know he is there.
…the sweet smell of honeysuckle in the air.
…my peonies budding and promises of beautiful blooms.
…the gentle breezes and perfect temperatures.
…afternoon glass of tea on the front porch.

Front porch sitting after a rain shower. Watching the red fox eat one of my chickens down by the creek, two whistling ducks sitting on the fence, red birds everywhere, Cosmo, the horse, rolling in the grass and a new guest, a roadrunner with worm in it’s mouth. Farm life!

The Pruett family from Denton came for a stay and rode the Northeast Texas Trail in from Paris on Thursday. Rode to Bagwell from Detroit and back on Friday then enjoyed the farm life and s’mores Friday evening. Headed out to Paris again today and then they will load up and drive home. We loved having them stay with us and so happy they enjoyed the trail.
