STOMPING OUT: Addressing Opioid Deaths in our communities

We are excited to announce the 2025 Stomping Out Health and Resource Fair. The "Stomping Out" event will be held Saturday May 3, 2025 at Durfee Innovation Society; 2470 Collingwood St, Detroit, MI 48206 from 11:00am until 3:00pm.

This initiative was started in 2012 as a way to bring together community organizations for the purpose of supporting our youth and families by helping them make healthier life choices. The “Stomping Out” Health and Resource Fair is a great opportunity for our community to learn about ways to choose healthy options, maintain healthier lifestyles and access community resources.

We are asking for your support to address health disparities. This year we are addressing Mental Health with our 2025 theme “Stomping Out: Opioid Deaths.” At this event, we will be highlighting mental health/substance abuse resources in addition to our traditional health screenings and access to community resources.

Vendors (Complimentary Table):
We are looking for vendors that address mental and/or physical concerns for youth, adults and families in our communities. Vendors receive complimentary tables at the event.

Sponsors:
It is with the continued support of community organizations that we can offer these invaluable resources to our community for FREE. We are asking for your support in making this a successful event. There are numerous sponsorship opportunities for the 2025 Mental Health fair (Food, Supplies, Gift cards ect.). All contributions are welcomed, and contributions may be tax deductible.
