🎣 Bull Shoals Lake Fishing & Lake Level Update – Diamond City Area 🎣

Bull Shoals Lake is currently sitting at approximately 661.1 feet, about 1 foot below normal summer pool, with good access at area boat ramps.

🐟 Fishing Report
• Largemouth Bass: Good. Early mornings and evenings are producing the best action on points, bluff ends, and deeper brush.
• Smallmouth Bass: Fair to good around rocky points and ledges.
• Crappie: Fair. Fish are suspended around brush piles and standing timber in deeper water.
• Walleye: Good, especially at dawn, dusk, and after dark along points and channel swings.
• Catfish: Good on cut bait and nightcrawlers, particularly after sunset.

🌡️ Lake Conditions
• Water temperature: Low 80s
• Water clarity: Clear in most areas

With the summer heat, the best fishing continues to be early in the morning and later in the evening. If you’re heading out on the lake this week, be safe, wear your life jacket, and enjoy everything Bull Shoals Lake has to offer!

📸 Feel free to share your catches in the comments! We love seeing what’s being caught around Diamond City.

What's Biting- Fishing Report for Bull Shoals Lake- Bass, Walleye, & Crappie for AGFC Bull Shoals Lake.

Bass report by Del Colvin Fishing -Lake level on the rise. With some more coming 660.70 now. Periodic showers bringing some much needed rain. Water temp jumped with the heat showing 79 today. The Power fisherman are enjoying some flooded bushes doing fine on the right day wind/clouds/rain/stain deep cranking in 2-15ft burning a spinnerbait and chatterbait on shallow flats ledges and transition banks stained water. Better get up early for Topwater bite covering water with a spook or poppers. Once that bite slows try A small tater Swimbait or Mayor 2.5 is working in natural shad imitation colors. I been using the Big Spoon! Or Jewel shad spoon if they are busting surface or your favorite minnow to shake around the shad. If the conditions are post frontal flat water high pressure blue birds Hot Sunny just go home and mow the grass. Lol, it will get tough. I will drop shot and slow down downsize and get off the bank look at deep ledges and brush piles bomb casts with lighter fluorocarbon line. You can try a finesse jewel pee-wee jig gp orange or bass whacker is working a GP also a Shakey head. Summer areas start looking at Long Points ledges brush piles big worm bluff ends deeper water close by. The post spawn fish have a tendency be finicky and some move deep and suspend 30-40ft to recover especially if there is shad around graph time pays off as usual. Remember “Fish the Conditions!” Del Colvin Fishing. Delcolvinfishing.

Walleye Report by Southern Walleye- Fishing this past week has not changed and has been very good depending on the weather. Summer Fishing patterns are in play. Some fish are moving with the shad in the old river channel and creek channels and more seem to be holding on flatter points with deep water on one side. Look for fish on long points close to the channel swings. Main lake and secondary points have been producing fish during the day, Fish shallow early mornings and on cloudy days in 20 to 25 ft of water and deeper in 35 to 45ft of water if there is little or no cloud cover. Casting Jigging spoons in the White or Chrome color and jigging rapalas in the blue and chrome1/2 oz size into 15 ft of water and working it back out into 35 ft has been working. Bottom Bouncing spinner rigs and crawlers around point close to channel is producing a alot of short fish as well some good 18 to 23 inch walleyes. If trolling try Shad style and small banana style baits like #7 flicker shads 0r #9 flicker minnow in natural colors Trolled in 25 ft to 35 ft of water at speeds of 1.8 to 2.2 seems to working best. The open water trolling bite has been slower this week but some bigger fish are still being caught. If you can find the shad fish Deep diving crankbaits like Bandits , RapalaTail Dancers size 11,Reef Runners a couple feet above where you mark them on the graph. Trolling over the flooded forest along the old river channel will get some nice fish this time of year. [email protected]

Crappie Report by Crappie 101 Guide Service, LLC- Crappie are still hanging on brush in that 15-20 ft range in the creeks, still definitely mixed up in most places. Minnows have been working well and certain days the 1/16 oz jig are working as well. Randy Reese, Crappie 101 Guide Service.
Marina Tip of the Week
Despite the almost-daily rain showers, lake clarity is impressive and we continue to enjoy the beautiful blue-green water for which Bull Shoals is known. Most marinas on the lake have crappie minnows and night crawlers in stock. Bring your rain gear just in case and while away the day doing something you love.
