There’s something about walking into a room that has been standing for generations.
The worn floors.
The aging walls.

This particular room is at 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌, but Bannack is only the beginning. 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂 is filled with places where the buildings remain, the history runs deep and, depending on whom you ask, not everyone has necessarily moved on.

Some places make you feel like you’ve arrived somewhere special.

The 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑺𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆 at 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒖𝒔 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍 is one of them.

Warm wood. Beautiful light. Thoughtful details. And the character that comes from staying inside a building that has been part of Dillon for more than a century. Here, history isn’t something kept behind glass. It lives in the architecture, the view beyond the windows, and the streets of Old Town Dillon waiting just outside the door.

And then there’s Montana.
Big skies. Mountain horizons. Long drives worth taking. Days spent exploring and evenings that invite you to slow down and stay awhile.

This little spot in the lobby at 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒖𝒔 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍 just seems to invite conversation. Guests settle into the chair, someone stops to say hello, and before long, a quick chat turns into a story or two.

Maybe it’s the view of Dillon through the windows.
Maybe it’s the afternoon light.
Maybe it’s simply that some places make you want to linger.
Whatever it is, we’ve learned not to rush it.

The warm welcome. The people who made them feel at home. The ease of walking out the door and exploring Dillon. And, in Michael’s case, knowing that his four-legged travel companion was just as welcome as he was.

The Knotty Pine’s 𝑴𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌 𝑴𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒏 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟐𝟒, 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝟓–𝟏𝟎 𝒑.𝒎., brings together music by 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒌𝒖𝒓𝒇𝒔, Bello’s smash burgers, 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒚’𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒄 & 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒔𝒆 [IYKYK], raffles, and a silent auction... all to help a place that means so much to local families.

We often send guests to 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌, and for good reason. A real Montana ghost town in October? Frankly, it would be rude 𝙣𝙤𝙩 to go.

𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂 has a way of staying with you. 🧡

Maybe it’s the mountains that seem to stretch forever. The roads that invite you to take the long way. The small towns where people still say hello. Or simply the feeling that, for a little while, there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Here in Dillon, we’re lucky enough to call all of that home, and at 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒖𝒔 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍, we love giving our guests a place to settle in right in the middle of it.

Butte’s Spooks & Spirits: Frights on the Flats trolley tour puts a spooky spin on a Southwest Montana outing. Historic hauntings, a trolley ride, and a perfectly reasonable excuse to cling to your travel companion. 😉

Looking to investigate the spookier side of Butte's History? Spooks & Spirits trolley tours stick to the city's historically verified hauntings, and while the early October dates are sold out, seats are still open for the back half of the month.
