There’s something really special about slowly building a place with obsessive detail and watching it come to life over time. 🌿

The last two days at Piney Bend have basically been nonstop planting, moving rocks, hauling dirt, and sweating my butt off 😅 but I genuinely love every second of it.

I can already picture how all of these little plants, vines, flowers, and textures are going to grow together and blend into the landscape over the next few years. The goal has always been for Piney Bend to feel like it belongs here — like it was discovered, not built.

I’m so grateful I get to create a place that makes people slow down, explore, and feel connected to nature again. 💚

Some places are meant to be busy.
Piney Bend isn’t one of them.

Out here, mornings start slow—coffee on the porch, watching the river move while everything else feels still. No rush, no noise… just the kind of quiet you don’t realize you needed.

The days unfold however you want them to. Maybe it’s a walk down the path, a rinse at the outdoor sink with the bluff reflecting back at you, or just sitting for a while longer than you planned.

Evenings are where it really settles in. Fire going, chairs pulled close, water moving in the background, and nowhere else to be.

It’s simple in the best way.
Not overdone. Not crowded. Just real.
