We FINALLY get a little rain here in the Ozarks, and the trees understood the assignment! 🍂🍁😍

Just a few days and a little much-needed rain later, Piney Bend is showing off! The fall colors are popping, the moss is glowing, and the Big Piney is looking as beautiful as ever. 💚

We’ve been quietly working on something special at Ember Nook…

What was once a simple little space overlooking the Big Piney has become a whole new place to spend your stay.

A giant hammock made for two.
A handmade convertible bench that becomes your riverside dinner table.
Soft paths winding through fresh mulch.
Cozy lanterns and string lights as the sun goes down.
A refreshed fire pit tucked into the trees.
And plenty of little spots to sit, stay awhile, and watch the river roll by.

🍂 Is fall on your mind yet? Because it’s definitely on ours.

Cool mornings along the river. The hills turning every shade of gold and orange. Coffee on the porch with nowhere you need to be. A fire crackling after dark. And that first chilly evening that makes climbing into a warm bed feel extra good.

Fall in the Ozarks has a way of making you slow down and stay awhile. ❤️

Piney Bend is quiet tonight. 🌲

The last guests have headed home, the river is still, and for the next couple of days our little place gets to rest before welcoming the next round of people looking for their own escape.

And after a week like this one, it feels like the perfect time to share a little love they left behind. ❤️

There’s something pretty special about hearing Piney Bend described through the people who come here to experience it.
