Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We are writing to share some bittersweet news with you. After much thought and consideration, we have made the decision to sell Bit-O-Heaven. Ownership of the community is expected to officially transfer to the buyer in late August or early September. Once we have an exact date, we will be sure to let you know.

When we purchased Bit-O-Heaven in 2016, our goal was to create more than simply a place to live and spend the winter. We wanted Bit-O-Heaven to be a place where neighbors became friends and where everyone could truly feel at home.

Over the past ten years, you made that vision a reality. Your kindness, friendships, pride in the community, and willingness to look out for one another are what have made Bit-O-Heaven such a special place. We are incredibly grateful for the trust you placed in us and for the many friendships and memories we have shared with you since 2016.

While it is difficult for us to say goodbye, we feel the time is right to begin this next chapter. We are confident that the buyer understands what makes Bit-O-Heaven special and shares our respect for the community and its residents.

Once the sale of the property has officially closed, the buyer will reach out to residents directly to introduce themselves and provide additional information regarding the transition and what to expect moving forward. The buyer is committed to keeping this a 55 plus community and will keep the 2026-2027 rates already announced the same.

To help make the change in ownership as smooth as possible, Barb and Cindy will remain available following the closing and work with the buyer throughout the transition. We hope that having their continued involvement during the transition will provide some familiarity and continuity as the new buyer assumes ownership and gets to know the community.

Most importantly, we want to simply say thank you.

Thank you for welcoming us into your community. Thank you for your support over the years. And thank you for making Bit-O-Heaven a place that has meant so much to all of us.
Although our time as owners is coming to an end, we will always look back on the past ten years with great appreciation and many wonderful memories.

We wish each and every one of you continued health, happiness, friendship, and many more wonderful years at Bit-O-Heaven.
