“Get your kicks on Route 66”… and this year hits a little different ❤️
Route 66 turns 100 this year, and we’re lucky enough to be sitting right along that historic path. Long before I-44, this was the road—families piled in cars, road trips with no GPS, neon signs lighting the way, and little roadside stops that made the journey just as fun as the destination.
Even before it was Route 66, this stretch followed the old Wire Road. So for generations, people have been passing through right here—traveling, exploring, chasing something new. Kinda makes you wonder how many stories have rolled by this exact spot.
With the 100-year anniversary happening now, there are car cruises, festivals, and throwback events popping up all around. You’ll probably start seeing more classics on the road and a little extra nostalgia in the air.
Like they say, “It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey”… and there’s no better place for that than Route 66.
