🚨 Hazardous tree down 🚨

Located between Iverson Bridge and the campground

A tree fell within the last day and is now stretching across most of the river. The current is pulling directly toward it, creating a very dangerous situation.

Two kayakers came across this spot today and were swept into the tree. They made it to shore and were rescued by the sheriff’s office and fire department — thankfully, both are safe.

All shuttles are paused until the hazard can be addressed. We urge you not to float this stretch either. We left a message with the Highlandville DNR.

**update** The DNR suggested finding the landowner to see if they can hook a chain to the tree and pull it towards the bank with a tractor. If anyone has a contact for the Blake or Iverson Family Farms about 1 mile south of Iverson Bridge, please reach out.

We are also looking for two aluminum kayaks — one floated downstream and the other may still be trapped under the tree. If you happen to see one, please let us know.

These amenities are included with all campsite and cabin stays — and day passes are available if you’re visiting for the day.

Our natural sand bottom pool is open May - September. Picnic tables, charcoal grills, and restrooms are available. Enjoy multiple playgrounds, sand volleyball, and basketball.

it's hard to capture just how big the beach and pool area is on camera, so you'll have to come experience it in person!

the water is typically clear, but you may notice it looks more blue this spring. we’re trying out a pond shade (safe for recreation, wildlife, and swimming) to help keep algae growth down!

• are there fish? nope!
• how do you fill it? it is filled with an artesian spring - constantly flowing, clean, and refreshing.
• is "pool" the right word? we call it a pool, but call it what you like - we just hope you enjoy it!

Timber Ridge is our newest lofted cabin offering modern comfort, spacious design, and beautiful views of the river valley.

The cabin accommodates up to 8 guests and features two thoughtfully furnished bedrooms designed for a restful stay — from quality mattresses to cozy pillows and blankets.

Bedroom 1 offers a king-sized bed, Bedroom 2 includes a queen-sized bed and a bunk bed, and a queen-sized murphy bed is located in the living area, making it perfect for families or groups.

The bathroom features a walk-in shower, double vanity sink, and toilet, along with plush towels provided for your comfort and convenience.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, and utensils, along with essentials like a coffee maker (coffee provided), toaster, and crockpot. A dining table seats up to eight.

The living area offers plenty of space for everyone to gather, relax, and unwind, complete with a TV.

Step outside to enjoy your outdoor space, featuring a covered porch, outdoor seating, gas grill, and adirondack chairs around the fire pit — perfect for soaking in the fresh air and winding down after a day of adventure.
