Budge's Flattops Wilderness Lodge has recently undergone new ownership and is now owned and managed by Wolf Creek Outfitters, LLC. We offer summer family vacation packages where you can stay in one of our on site cabins and enjoy horseback riding, hiking, fishing, photography and more! There are miles of crystal clear streams and lakes in the area and provide some of the best fishing in the state. We also offer fully guided and drop camp hunting packages for Rocky Mountain Elk in the Flattops Wilderness Area of the White River National Forest. We sure enjoyed September! Once again, our muzzleloader hunters and guides worked hard and found success. We can't wait to begin the r***e seasons, starting next week!

Thanks to our guests who joined us for the September elk hunts. Over the coming months, we hope you enjoy some of the best meat on earth with your family and friends. And we hope you continue to cherish these memories for years to come!

Thanks also to our guides and crew who worked so hard to make it a safe, fun, and memorable experience. If you've been around here much, you know we say it all the time - we work with the best team!

Cheers to the next adventure!

Where will you your adventure take you? Fall may be around the corner, but classic summer fly fishing rigs like dry-dropper or a double dry are still crushing it out on the river. Multiple spring creeks feed into the white river, cooling overall temps for happy and healthy trout.

What’s your go to mountain river rig?
