🛳️ Symphony of the Seas Review🌊
This was my first time on Royal Caribbean. One of the biggest drivers for me when I pick a ship is the “bells and whistles”. I love big ships as they offer more for the kids… which is why I specifically wanted an Oasis class ship. These are some of the biggest ships in the ocean, and they are the widest. You’ll see they are ‘hollow’ in the middle and offer some open air venues on lower levels. Our sailing had 6,200+ guests, with over 2,000 in crew… and you’d have no idea. Not to say that some areas didn’t get crowded at times, but not as bad as I anticipated.
💦 This ship had 3 pools, an adult only area (solarium), 2 flow riders*, 3 water slides, and a big splash pad for little ones. I counted at least 8 hot tubs
🏀Some activities include rock climbing walls, escape room*, mini golf course, ice rink, arcade, carousel, climbing area for small kids, 10 story dry slide, and sports court.
🌯 Complimentary Dining includes Windjammer Buffer, Boardwalk Hot Dogs, El Loco Fresh, Promanade Cafe, Garden Cafe, and my favorite place to stop before bed was Sorrentos Pizza (open til 2a)
🍽️As always, there was a ton of specialty dining options for a fee - Italian, Steakhouse, Hibachi, Seafood, Johnny Rockets, and more
🌊We always get a balcony cabin. This time we got a large balcony which was more than double the size of a regular balcony. The cabin itself had a little more floor space and more storage, which made it easy to stay organized. The one thing I did miss was bunk beds. We had another bed that slide out from under the couch. This real ate up a LOT of floor space making it difficult to get to the balcony. We just slid it in a bit during the day.
🎼Lots of live music all over the ship which I LOVED
🎭 I saw 3 awesome shows, there was 2 others I didn’t see, but I loved that I had so many options. The Show in the Aqua theater (Hiro) was amazing! Where else would you see high divers at Sea?!
💎 Lastly, the service was awesome! The staff was so kind and helpful.
