⛺️That’s a wrap on Season 3 at Paddlers Creekside Campground! We’re closing for the season today, a couple of weeks early thanks to those chilly nights coming our way! 🥶

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who camped with us and made this another great year! We appreciate you all!

We’ll reopen in May 2027, but don’t worry… We’re still working on our SURPRISE PROJECT that will be open year-round! Stay tuned for more details!

We’ll see y’all back at the creek soon!

Paddlers had the pleasure of shuttling Tim early this morning! He’s working on visiting and hiking all of Virginia’s state parks this year! He’s checking off his last few (of the 44) while hiking the New River Trail today!

We love meeting people who are out exploring all the beauty Virginia has to offer! Thanks for letting Paddlers be a small part of your adventure!

Anglers can fish without buying a license from Friday through Sunday. The state’s free fishing weekend typically takes place each June; this is the first year with a second free weekend. https://mrf.lu/2mmWg

🍂 FALL CAMPING is here! 🍂

This weekend is looking like a pretty dang GOOD weekend to go camping!

Fall camping is a whole different kind of camping. The leaves start changing, the fire feels a little better, and the cooler nights are more comfortable for sleeping.

You still have plenty of time to get out here and enjoy some fall at the creek. Paddlers Creekside Campground is OPEN THROUGH NOVEMBER 1!

It really shows just how awesome the fishing can be in Reed Creek right here at Paddlers! We love seeing people enjoy the creek and showing off what’s out there.

Want to come fish? We sell $10 parking passes for the day! Just contact us at 276-389-8246 to get your day pass.

One quick reminder: Fishing is only for camping guests, or with a day pass ONLY. We’ve unfortunately had quite a few people trespassing to fish this summer, and one was served with trespassing notices. We really do try to keep fishing affordable and fun for everyone, but we also need to know who is on the property for liability reasons (and do not allow it when the full campground is booked for private parties).

So book your site or grab a pass, bring your fishing gear, and come see what you can pull out of Reed Creek! 🎣 We close 11/1 for the season!
