🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day

Veterans Day is more than just a date on the calendar — it’s a day to pause, reflect, and give thanks to the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform.

Originally known as Armistice Day, this observance began on November 11, 1919 — marking the first anniversary of the end of World War I.

In 1954, it was officially renamed Veterans Day to honor all who have served in the United States Armed Forces — past, present, and future.

At Band of Brothers Outdoors, our mission is built on that same gratitude — connecting veterans through outdoor experiences, camaraderie, and healing. Today and every day, we thank every veteran who has raised their right hand to serve to our great country.

To those who’ve stood watch, fought for freedom, and carried the weight of that sacrifice — we see you, we honor you, and we are forever grateful.

We’re honored to be a part of this event each year!

🎯 Today’s the Day! 🎯

We’re kicking off our Prairie Dog Shoot in South Dakota with our great friends at Bad River Bad River Bucks and Birds! 🇺🇸☀️

We’re honored to be taking 18 veterans out for some much-needed recoil therapy and camaraderie under the wide open skies. It’s a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors, share some laughs, and make lasting memories.

Special thank you goes out to Brandon Jones and Cody H Hullinger. You helped wrap up our 2023 Bad River Bucks & Birds, LLC prairie dog shoot with a phenomenal jam session. Two great musicians came together to provide some entertainment for some of our nations finest veterans.

If you haven’t seen Brandon Jones before make sure you check him out! He’s going to be at Big Erv's- Horace tonight, tomorrow he’s going to be at Cormorant Pub & Boathouse. Head out to see him and support and his music outta the Black Hills of South Dakota.
