We are groomed for wildlife in its natural habitat. Bad River Bucks & Birds, LLC, located on a 100-year old family owned ranch in the rugged heart of South Dakota, is groomed for wildlife in its natural habitat. Home to an abundant number of wild pheasants and some of the largest deer in the state, the ranch regularly plants both cover and food plots to attract a variety of upland game and deer as well as prairie dogs and other game. A portion of the land is designated as a hunting preserve, which allows for exclusive early and late season hunting. Trophy sized animals are as common as the panoramic sunsets. Here the hunter will find sanctuary. Whether quietly huddling in a blind among never-ending fields of reed canary grass, tracking through a foot of fresh snow on a silent morning or celebrating a successful hunt among friends at our discriminating lodge. If you're looking for the best South Dakota pheasant hunting or deer hunting, look no further.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

From all of us at the lodge, thank you to those who served and to the families who carry their legacy forward. As we gather in the great outdoors this Memorial Day, may we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day

Veterans Day is more than just a date on the calendar — it’s a day to pause, reflect, and give thanks to the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform.

Originally known as Armistice Day, this observance began on November 11, 1919 — marking the first anniversary of the end of World War I.

In 1954, it was officially renamed Veterans Day to honor all who have served in the United States Armed Forces — past, present, and future.

At Band of Brothers Outdoors, our mission is built on that same gratitude — connecting veterans through outdoor experiences, camaraderie, and healing. Today and every day, we thank every veteran who has raised their right hand to serve to our great country.

To those who’ve stood watch, fought for freedom, and carried the weight of that sacrifice — we see you, we honor you, and we are forever grateful.

🎯 Today’s the Day! 🎯

We’re kicking off our Prairie Dog Shoot in South Dakota with our great friends at Bad River Bad River Bucks and Birds! 🇺🇸☀️

We’re honored to be taking 18 veterans out for some much-needed recoil therapy and camaraderie under the wide open skies. It’s a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors, share some laughs, and make lasting memories.
