Come visit the “Pennsylvania Wilds” to kayak, hike, and enjoy the abundant wildlife, including elk, whitetail deer, black bear, and our personal favorite, American Bald Eagles. There are trails to explore on foot along with some of the township roads opening up for ATV’s. Fred Woods Trail is just a stone’s throw away from the campground en route to what the locals call “The Top of the World” where

you literally get a birds-eye view of the surrounding area. There are also many attractions to visit including Keystone Elk Country Visitors Center, Sinnemahoning Wildlife Center, George B. Bush Dam. A short scenic drive will take you to Table Falls and a drive up Wykoff Run Road will let you enjoy the numerous waterfalls while driving without leaving your car. There is also an occasional pull-off where you can take a short path to see even more of our natural beauty.

🦌SAVE THE DATE🦌Get ready for a weekend packed with excitement for hunting, fishing, and outdoor enthusiasts—with fun for the whole family and free programs both days.

Just before the highly anticipated elk rut begins to peak, the Keystone Elk Country Alliance and the Elk Country Visitor Center welcome visitors to the largest elk celebration in the Northeast. Held each year on the grounds of the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette, the annual Elk Expo is a can’t-miss event for anyone who loves the outdoors.

The Expo features something for everyone, including exhibits, seminars, antler scoring experts, hunting, fishing, trapping, and outdoor recreation displays, plus a special presentation by Pennsylvania Game Commission Elk Biologist Jeremy Banfield. Visitors can also explore offerings from more than 130 vendors.
