An update on my Dad. He made it home safely to California Friday night. He went through Yellow Stone and the Tetons on his way home.

Drummond Island was once considered as a potential site for a U.S. naval base after the War of 1812, because of its strategic location near the U.S.-Canada border and the shipping lanes of the Great Lakes. However, the plans were eventually scrapped, and the island remained largely undeveloped.

So, instead of battleships and barracks, itโ€™s now known for peace, nature, and off-road trails!
