Ledy's Chalet had some special visitors this past weekend -- a mamma black bear and her TRIPLETS! We are truly in the middle of nature here on Drummond Island.

As a side note: black bears should be treated with respect and safely observed from a distance of at least 100 yards. This is especially important with females accompanied by offspring, as mother bears are very protective of their young

Although summer is booked solid, we have availability in the Spring and late-Summer through Fall. Fall on the Island is breathtakingly beautiful -- think color tour! Also accepting reservations in November -- think "hunting season".

We have the following dates yet open at the cottage on Drummond Island. 7/20-7/27 and 8/24-8/31. These are great summer weeks. We are also open into the fall after 9/8. During the fall we are flexible with the dates with a minimum of a three night stay. Everyone deserves a vacation on an island!
