⚠️⚠️⚠️ Power Outage Update ⚠️⚠️⚠️

6pm Update: Power has been restored****

Unfortunately, we are experiencing another power outage from all of this rain. The good news is (if you can call it good lol) is that it appears to only be affecting our road and the 4 connecting streets versus the entire county like the last one, so we are hopeful power will be restored quickly.

Please note that during this outage, we will be unable to take phone calls or process reservations. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while crews work to restore service.

We have the sweetest family staying with us to visit the Ark Encounter and let me tell you…these kids can PLAY. They fit right in here in the Bluegrass State.

Great news: the power is back on!
Less great news: Mother Nature has apparently subscribed to the SiriusXM unlimited rain package for the rest of the weekend so we can throw out our sound machines.

Does anyone even remember what sunshine looked like!?

***UPDATE: Estimated time of restoration is 5pm. Over 54% of our county alone is now without power, we have the largest number of outages in Northern Kentucky at this time***

We are aware of the power outage at the Campground and apologize for any inconvenience.
Owen Electric is having outages across Northern Kentucky due to the flash flooding. There is no estimated time of restoration at this time but we will update once we know more.

⚠️⚠️⚠️UPDATE: WE ARE NOW IN A FLASH FLOOD WARNING!!!⚠️⚠️⚠️

⚠️CAUTION: FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5AM TOMORROW⚠️

Please use caution when traveling into town. We have currently received around 4 inches of rain this week with 3 more inches expected today, so water is saturating the ground with no where to go and hydroplaning is a big concern around the county today. We have several more days of rain still in the forecast.
There is also a section of roadway leading into the campground that has started to break away from the heavy rains. Please use extra caution, especially when passing other vehicles in that area. The City has been notified and is aware of the issue.

At this time, the bathhouses remain open; however, the water level is getting very close to the bottom of the doors. We will continue monitoring conditions closely and will keep all guests updated regarding any potential bathhouse closures.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as Mother Nature keeps us on our toes. Stay safe out there!

Happy Mother’s Day from Unhitched Camper Village! We’re grateful for all the moms and mother-figures in our community. We hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and a little extra time to relax. If you’re staying with us, stop by and let us wish you a happy Mother’s Day. People are trickling in for our Mother's Day cook-out. Our smallest Campers are clearly having the best time 🤭
