A New Season is On the Way

One of the things we love about living in the Midwest is that we get to experience the seasons. We wait for spring to wake up. We enjoy up long summer days. We watch the landscape change in the fall. And eventually, we can appreciate beauty of winter.

We are midwesterns we don't just wait for the next season. We earn it. Try to invest in it. Try to embrace what makes each one different. And now, it's fall's turn. The cooler temperatures the changing colors, the migrating birds are inviting you to get outside and explore a little differently. So we've put together a Dubuque County Conservation Fall Bucket List to help you make the most of the season:

☐ Visit the Balltown Overlook along the Great River Road
☐ Enjoy a campfire at the Miller McGrath Cabin
☐ Hike to the overlook at Whitewater Canyon
☐ Bike the Heritage Trail from Twin Springs Access
☐ Camp at Finley's Landing primitive tent sites
