You can either drive to or hike 2 miles on the sunset trail to the sunset view overlook and the views are 👌🏼👌🏼!!

⚠️ Cedar Breaks is 10,000 feet elevation so....keep this in mind when you're planning to visit!!

They also have wildflowers in the summer and do star parties at the ranger station!! ⭐

Highway 148 opens 5/15, which makes Cedar Breaks a much easier drive from Duck Creek!

The road is open, but the mountain is still early-season. Check trail conditions before heading out, bring layers, stop at the overlooks, and enjoy the views.

The road to Cedar Breaks National Monument (Hwy 148) opens TOMORROW (5/15), so get ready for a scenic drive! 🎉

Here are a few things to know before your visit:

* The road is open, but the trails won't be. Check conditions ahead of time at nps.gov/cebr/ before setting your sights on hiking.

* The temperatures are still low at 10,000 feet! Pack layers and be prepared for cooler temperatures than what you'll find in the valley.

* Check out all the overlooks, enjoy the drive, and we'll see you up there! 👋

Don't be the person to drive through Duck Creek on your way to Zion or Bryce. You'll miss all of the hidden gems that Duck Creek has to offer:

Cascade Falls: water literally pours out of the cliff

Strawberry Point: the 1,000-ft overlook nobody talks about

Mammoth Cave: half-mile lava tube you can walk
