One of the best parts about planning an Outer Banks trip is that every town has its own personality. ☀️ Some people want quiet mornings and local surf spots in Kitty Hawk, others want to be close to all the action in Kill Devil Hills. Nags Head gives you the classic OBX experience people grow up coming back to, while Duck is perfect for slower-paced beach days, soundside sunsets, and walking to dinner at night.

There’s really no wrong choice, it just depends on the kind of trip you want to have. ✨

As we head into another summer season on the Outer Banks, we’ve been feeling especially grateful. ☀️ Raising our own family here has shown us just how important these vacations really are. The beach days your kids will remember forever, the slower mornings together, the traditions that start without even realizing it, and the rare time where everyone is finally in the same place at once.

Because of that, we try to treat every guest vacation the way we’d want our own family vacation treated. Thoughtfully, personally, and with the hope that the memories made here will last long after summer ends.

Some of the best Outer Banks days don’t need much of a plan. ☀️ You wake up slow, grab coffee, spend the afternoon between the beach and Jennette’s Pier, stop for ice cream on the way home, and somehow everyone ends the night gathered back together on the porch talking a little longer than expected.
