We have been going to Duck for 15 years. This community was by far my favorite community. The clubhouse had a great, friendly staff and parking for the beach access.
Our dog loved it too.

DOUBLE RED FLAG CONDITIONS are in effect at all Duck beaches due to a HIGH rip current risk and powerful breaking waves. Ocean conditions have brought powerful rip/longshore currents and 4 - 8 foot breaking surf making conditions life-threatening for swimmers and ocean rescue personnel. Ocean swimming is not allowed, stay out of the water!

Please note: Double red flags are not currently posted on the beach due to high winds, but this does NOT mean it is safe to enter the water.

Single red flags are posted on all Duck beaches today due to dangerous ocean conditions and strong rip currents. Ocean conditions will lead to powerful rip currents and dangerous breaking waves. Ocean swimming is not recommended; stay out of the water! If you have any questions about beach conditions, Duck Surf Rescue personnel are on duty and ready to assist.

Always swim near a lifeguard. If help is needed, know your location and call 911.
