➡️ ⭐️⭐️ "IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT" ⭐️⭐️ ⬅️
First we want to say how appreciative we are for all of our guests and so many repeat guests we have had over the years. You have helped us become such a success with the Tackett Shack Rentals. Many of you we have ended up becoming close friends who we talk with on a regular basis. We have truly been blessed with this opportunity and worked so hard to make it what it is today. WE THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!!!
Since the first of this year, we have taken these last few months to weigh out our options with the future of the Tackett Shack Rental Properties and our own personal life. As many of you know, it is just my Husband (Dwayne) and I who operate and maintain the rental properties, along with having our full time jobs on top of that. It definitely takes up most of our free time, which we knew starting this business and was not naive to that fact. From the very beginning, we knew that we would not do this business forever and would move on when we felt the time was right.
So with that being said, we have made the decision to take a much needed break from the business and as of today (April 29th. 2024) we will not be taking any reservations past July 7th, 2024. We still a few dates available up until July 7th that you can still book and come stay & ride before we close the business. This was not an easy decision to come by and we took our time to make the correct decision for our personal life, our family, and the other adventures we want to pursue.
As we step away from the Rental Business, we have had interest with people wanting to buy the rental properties. As we are still making our decision on whether to sale the properties or not, we will entertain "serious" inquiries and/or offers only. "We will not respond to low ball offers". We know the great potential and opportunities the property has and can have with growth and additions that can be made to the property. There is approximately around 8 acres all together at the Tackett Shack property, so there is a huge opportunity there for sure with great success and returning guest retention we have maintained. But, also at the same time, we are not pressed to sale,. as in holding onto the property and not renting out or selling will not hurt us.
In closing, again we thank you all for supporting our business over these years and will miss seeing you all on your stays! We hope you understand our decision is being made in the well being of our personal life, our family, and what we want to do with our future adventures.
