🏕️ That's a wrap on our 2026 season at Dulce Base Tipi! ❤️

What a wonderful season it's been! We want to thank each and every guest who chose to stay with us, shared stories, made memories, and experienced a little piece of life here on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation.

We're truly grateful for another great season and all the love and support we've received along the way.

As we close things down for the year, we're already looking forward to welcoming new and returning guests in 2027!

Until next season, thank you for being part of our journey! ❤️ - Heather & Dustin

Something strange appeared over Dulce Base Tipi on the night of the Harvest Moon. 🌕🛸

During our UFO Night Tour, we captured a bright light in the sky that looked like it went straight into a portal before disappearing.

No filters. No edits. Just one of those moments that made everyone stop and ask, what did we just see?

Dulce has long been surrounded by stories, mystery, and questions about what might be happening in the skies above us. Nights like this definitely keep that curiosity alive.

To encourage, promote and pass on to the next generation, our proud Jicarilla Apache basket making traditions. The Jicarilla Apache Cultural Arts & Heritage Center is sponsoring a Jicarilla Apache basket expo. on October 8th. We will be showcasing our center’s beautiful antique museum basket collection. Basket demonstrations and presentation will be done throughout the day. We will be honoring Mrs. Lydia Pesata for her work in preserving and teaching our Jicarilla Cultural Arts in basketry and micaceous pottery. Lunch of Apache stew and frybread will be served at 12:00. We have limited bags and pens with Jicarilla basket designs that will be given out in the morning. Come out and see some of our beautiful basket collection on display.

Today was our Enchanted Market & Yard Sale at Dulce Base Tipi, and I’m proud of what we put together. 🤎

Every event teaches you something. Every time you open the gates, invite the community in, and create space for local businesses, connection, and new ideas, you’re building toward something bigger.

A huge thank you to Deep Rooted Therapy for showing up and offering massages today. We truly appreciate you being part of the day and bringing a little wellness into the mix. 💆🏽‍♀️✨

And a very special thank you to Stephanie from The Enchanted Collective, who came all the way from San Diego to be part of everything happening with us this weekend. Having someone travel that far to support the vision, bring her energy, and help us create these experiences means so much.

We also had our yard sale going, good conversations, visitors stopping by, and another opportunity to welcome people out to Dulce Base Tipi.

This season has been full of experimenting, trying new things, creating partnerships, and figuring out what our community responds to. I’m proud that we keep trying, keep creating, and keep moving forward.

You don’t build something meaningful overnight. You build it one event, one connection, one lesson, and one person at a time.

Thank you to everyone who came out, shared our posts, supported us, or simply encouraged us along the way. We’re proud of what we’re building here in Dulce, and we’re just getting started. 🤎
