Are you interested in learning where you can recreate on the St. Louis River? Do you have questions about the restoration and remediation projects happening in the estuary?
Join the St. Louis River Alliance and partners on Tuesday, April 23rd at Clyde Iron Works (2920 W Michigan Street, Duluth) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for 'The St. Louis River: A Virtual Tour of Recreation Opportunities'. This event is free and open to the public. Come enjoy free pizza and thoughtful conversations. All are welcome!
St. Louis River Area of Concern Coordinators will be there to answer your questions, and Twin Ports recreational businesses and organizations will have tables at the event to help get you connected and geared up. Come network with our friends at Duluth Area Outdoor Alliance (DAOA), Team River Runner, University of Minnesota Recreation Sports Outdoor Program (RSOP), City of Duluth, Northland Adaptive Recreation, Swiftwater Adventures, Minnesota White Water, Duluth Gear Exchange, Spirit Lake Marina, Minnesota Sea Grant, and more!
We will also be sharing information on how you can become eligible to win a prize by participating in a fun “Recreating in the St. Louis River: A Virtual Scavenger Hunt”.
This is going to be a fun gathering to celebrate the many ways you can play in Duluth and Superior, and a reflect on the restoration and remediation work that has paved the way for a cleaner future. Save the date and see you there!
