After some fresh updates and prep, we’re thrilled to welcome hikers back to our donation-based, volunteer-run hostel – a simple but sacred stop for weary feet and trail-worn hearts.

For the remainder of the 2024 Season, we regret to inform you that the DAG Hikers Ministry will not open.

We are working diligently with the Insurance Company and are hopeful that we will be ready for the 2025 Season.

We will continue to keep you posted on the updates as they become available.

6/11/24 Update: Unfortunately, we have no update. When we get answers from the insurance company, we will be able to provide a more definitive answer, but right now, we are kind of in a holding pattern.

With our 2024 Season approaching, we regret to inform you that the DAG Hikers Ministry will not open on May 1st as planned, due to a water leak.

Today it is International Volunteer Day, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of the remarkable volunteers who selflessly contribute their time and energy to the Hikers Ministry. Their dedication creates positive examples of God that touch countless lives. Whether our volunteers are cleaning, washing towels, restocking shelves, taking out the trash, putting up or taking down the signs, fixing things that break, donating vegetables, or lending a helping hand in the hiker garden, they are making a difference that truly matters. Thank you, DAG Hikers Ministry volunteers, for being true servants of God!
