IT TAKES A VILLAGE: our local United Way campaign will be wrapping up soon. I’ve been reminded throughout this campaign of the many times in our lives that we’ve needed help, because it takes a village. United way makes sure children aren’t hungry, working families who need a hand up in the moment get it. Whether it be healthcare, utilities, paying that unexpected bill that came in, after school care for working parents and on and on. If there’s an organization UW sponsors that’s close to your heart you can request 100% if your donation go to that organization.

If you’re in the Kingsport area and working and need a hand up did you know you can dial 211 and you’ll reach someone within the United Way organization that’s ready to assist. Let’s make sure United way never has to turn anyone away due to lack of funds. It takes village.
