There’s a lot to be thankful for at Hoskins Country Store. ❤️
When you live with an old place, it’s easy to find yourself thinking about all the people who have passed through its doors over the years. Since 1889, this building has been part of the life of this little corner of Essex County—and now we have the wonderful opportunity to share it with people who come from near and far.
We’re thankful for every guest who chooses to stay here, who notices the old details, asks about the history, settles in for a quiet evening, and leaves with a little piece of Hoskins Country Store in their memories.
Historic places are meant to be lived in and loved, not simply preserved behind glass. We feel incredibly fortunate to be the current caretakers of this one—and even more fortunate that we get to open its doors and share it with you.
