Airbnb recently changed its rules to stop hosts from asking guests to do checkout chores—but with our two spaces, that’s nothing new! We have never had these requirements!

The notification just hit. I am literally looking at it.
​SUPERHOST ON AIRBNB! Right now.
​Four months ago I hit publish on The Vault Air Bee & Be in historic downtown Durant, and Honey House Farm tucked under the oaks and pines in Ravenna, Texas. And sitting here now, wiping out the last of the messaging backlog and checking the dashboard once again, the badge just locked in.
​It’s surreal. Just hours ago Erin was double-checking the cleanings and making sure everything was spotless for the next arrivals. And now? All that late-night hustle, all the non-stop linen folding, answering questions from guests about restaurants, and stressing over every little guest review has officially culminated in this exact second.
​I’m literally staring at the screen grinning. We worked hard to get here. Both properties, elite status, four months flat!
