Congratulations again to Diane Tighe, Area Director of Sales, Catering & Conference Services, and Troy Stauffer, Area Executive Chef, who were both recognized at the North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association - NCRLA Stars of the Industry awards on Monday night!

Diane was selected as Lodging Manager of the Year and Troy was chosen for Restaurant Manager of the Year! We are thrilled to have both of these leaders contributing to our trio of hotel properties and setting the standard across the hospitality industry.

We are thrilled to announce that two of our wonderful colleagues have been chosen as North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association - NCRLA Stars of the Industry award winners! Diane Tighe, Area Director of Sales, Catering & Conference Services, was selected as Lodging Manager of the Year, while Troy Stauffer, Area Executive Chef, was chosen as Restaurant Manager of the Year!

This outstanding, statewide recognition is a testament to the unending contribution both Diane and Troy have made to Duke Inn & Golf Club, JB Duke Hotel, and The Lodge at Duke Medical Center! Their success in cultivating and leading their teams delivers the award-winning guest experience we offer and expect at each of our properties.

Diane and Troy will be presented with this honor at the NCRLA Stars of the Industry Awards Gala on February 12. This gala honors employees at all levels in the industry who have demonstrated overwhelming professionalism and creativity in their roles and contribute to the positive image of the industry we all have.

We are pleased to announce that the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club has been nominated as North Carolina's Best Golf Hotel for the 2023 World Golf Awards.

The 18-hole championship Duke University Golf Club opened in 1957 and is the only course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in the region. The Duke University Golf Club was the site of the 2001 NCAA Men's Golf Championship and has been ranked as one of the finest university golf courses in North America.
