The Cabin

The Cabin A 700 sqft cabin close to Worlds End and Ricketts Glen. Outdoor enthusiasts! I am renting my cottage! Lake access! Many hiking trails, creeks to swim and fish in.

Price depends on season.
2 night minimum
2 Bedrooms- full bunk beds in one and queen in another
Could sleep small child or small adult on sofa
Cable Tv
High speed internet
All incidentals provided- paper products, dish soap etc
Woodstove and propane heat the cabin
Wood for firepit outside provided
Great cellphone service, at the cabin
Cabin is 2 miles from the lake
In private, quiet development

Fishing, hiking, boat with oars, beach access, Wineries galore! Lake Mokoma, Laporte, PA
4 hrs from Leesburg, VA
Not a public lake -Renting my place would give you access
Pets allowed with permission
Pet fee $25 per pet. 2 max
Access to boat with oars, which is already at the lake

You are in the Loyalsock state forest. There is an amusement for the kids about 45 mins away called Knoebels. http://www.knoebels.com/
Forksville fairgrounds are about 20 mins away that have events all throughout the summer
There is a small convenient store about a mile away. A large store in Dushore, PA. About 8 miles away

There are bears in the area, very docile, but just to make you aware and so you don't leave trash out. Upon leaving:

I do require a few things for people that rent when thy leave: sweep, take the trash with you, just leave it the way you found it :)

As I'm driving to New Jersey for my day job today, I realized rescue is basically one giant dunk tank.

You finally get your head above water.

WHACK.

$2,000 board and train.

WHACK.

$400 vet bill.

WHACK.

$700 surgery.

That doesn't even include yesterday's vet parade.

Then people ask, "When are you going to catch your breath?"

Catch my breath? That's a good one.

The truth is, you only see the yeses. You don't see the dozens of heartbreaking no's that came before them. You don't see the networking, begging, and pleading for another rescue to have space. You only see the dogs we somehow found a way to help.

So here's my shameless NEPA Gives plug.
