Timber Ridge Hunting Ranch

Well it is with a heavy heart that we make this announcement. We have sold the ranch and they will not be continuing it as a commercial hunting property.
For those that have hunts booked I will be in direct communication these upcoming weeks to get your hunts switched over to another ranch (if that is your desire) deposits will be honored and returned (just get copies from the bank so I can make sure they line up with what we have). We have partnered with another ranch who operates in the same ways we do to ensure you guys are taken care of in the way would have.
We have built some family like connections with our hunters so it is a very bitter sweet closing of a chapter.
We have always believed in transparency so if anyone wants to call and talk it over I would be more than willing to have that conversation. (918) 777-6654. This type of announcement needs more than just a Facebook post so please feel free to reach out as I will also be reaching out for the next several weeks. We have over 1000 hunters booked for the next year and a half so please be patient as I work my way through those lists. Thank you guys for all the love and support over the years. It is the people that make this decision so difficult and we had some of the best come out to the ranch. Thanks again and we wish you all the absolute best.

A new ranch record has been broken this week!! 297 pounds of wild hog hits the dirt! Congrats to everyone involved!

Here’s the thing…. I know better than to leave my phone on the table with these guys around. And believe me they will be disciplined, not for this pic on my phone but for drinking keystones in our lodge! 🤮I don’t think our Iowa boys would be too happy about this!

Just a feel good story for your Monday morning…
I get a call from a grandson wanting to get their grandpa a big trophy boar. After some failed attempt’s at some other places he was able to get it done here. It’s moments like this that will never be forgotten and I promise it means as much to us as it does you! Great family group and some of the best shooting I’ve seen in a long time!

It’s international woman’s day and there is no one more deserving of love than this woman here! She is so kind and always thinks of everyone around here before herself. We all know that but what many don’t know is how absolutely strong she is inside and out. The whole world could be coming down and she will continue to have a smile on her face. I’ve always known her to do the right thing no matter what and Timber Ridge would not be the same without her.

Hey Timber Ridge family … Well we can officially add another rule to the “Rules That Shouldn’t Need to be Explained Book”

Rule # 2
- Don’t shoot the feeders, or any part of the feeders, this includes removing the lid to shoot at it. Also don’t shoot down onto the feeders from the elevated blinds. If a feeder is in the way just wait 5 extra seconds for the animal to move and shoot it when it’s clear.

We don’t have enough good things to say about these guys. It was wet, frozen, cold and did we mention wet? These guys hunted hard from up close in your face bow shots to absolute destruction with the .50 cal. These are the friendships we hope last a lifetime. Thanks for all the memories guys.
