Beaver River friends: Has anyone figured out what’s happening with Frontier phone service?

We’ve been told Frontier is moving away from the copper phone lines and that we’ll need internet for phone service. That raises a pretty big question for Beaver River, where we’re off the grid and don’t have regular electricity.

Has anyone else spoken with Frontier? What did they tell you about your phone service, when it might change, and what options we’ll have? I’d love to compare notes, because the answers so far have been a little confusing.
