We are on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes between Watersmeet and Yellow Birch Lakes. The Inn with cozy knotty pine paneled rooms and 6 waterfront cottages We are encompassed by Chequamegon- Nicolet National Forest, Northern Highland American Legion Sate Forest and Vilas County Forest that have bike, hiking, cross county and snowshoe trails. Pets are welcome for a fee,

My maple tree leaves have mostly dropped, but the oaks are looking good for the week.
With this coming Friday nights hard freeze. No need to worry about the swarming mosquitos.
