We wanted to give guests a fun nod to Eagle River’s bootlegging history, with a modern twist. Tucked behind a portière, you’ll find this laid-back speakeasy with cozy seating, a 70-inch TV, a pool table, air hockey, a retro bar setup, and just enough vintage flair to make you feel like you’re bending the rules.

Oh, and don’t forget to grab a mugshot. We’ve got a photo-op wall that’s perfect for your lineup.

See it before it’s gone!

The Eagle River Ice Castle is a true Northwoods winter tradition, built by the Eagle River Fire Department and local volunteers using blocks of ice cut from Silver Lake. When conditions are just right, this breathtaking structure rises in downtown Eagle River—but it never lasts long!

But don’t wait too long… Depending on the weather, the castle will only stand until mid-February before it melts away.

It’s not every day you get excited about a septic system, but this project was a game-changer for us—and for you!

Hosting large groups is what our lodge was built for, and now it’s equipped to handle up to 16 guests. Add in our seasonal cottage with its own 4-person septic system, and we’re ready to welcome up to 20 guests across the property.

From planning and permits to digging (and leveling!), this upgrade was all about ensuring your stay is as seamless and comfortable as possible. While the system quietly does its job underground, above ground, it’s all about making memories: nights by the firepit, lazy mornings by the lake, and everything in between.

A big thanks to Stoltz Enterprise for their expertise and hard work in making this project happen.

Sometimes, the best upgrades are the ones you don’t see—until you feel how smooth everything is. Here’s to big improvements for even bigger adventures!

A throwback to our very first guest! Samantha rented the lodge in October of 2023, just a few days after we closed on the property. We purchased the place fully furnished, but it was definitely not child proof! We have since signed up for BabyQuip so you can rent cribs, strollers, toys, and tons of other baby items during your stay and not have to worry about packing as much. Oh, and we also removed those pesky bunk beds and replaced them with two queen beds.

Fast forward to today, we are now up to 24 five star reviews across AirBNB, VRBO & Google Vacation Rentals!
