Originally built as a boarding house in 1887, our inn still celebrates our town’s history. Each room is named after historic places, events, and people, with pictures and artifacts building on the stories behind each room’s name. You’ll find

Our Story

Welcome,

We are pleased to have the opportunity to be of service during your time in Eagles Mere, a quaint place to relax in the Endless Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. The out of way destination can bring you to reconnect with nature, or a loved one. The new owners and management bring refinement and maturity to a building erected originally in 1887 as a boarding house.

The area is a quiet oasis where the pace is dramatically slower and technology takes a back seat to nature. Often described as picturesque, the local area is ideal for hiking, viewing waterfalls and natural lakes within the many local state parks. The Inn has membership to the Eagles Mere Country Club and the Eagles Mere Lake Association, which extends to guests during lodging. The Inn offers kayaks and bicycles free of charge to our guests to enjoy the lake and back roads of the area. The staff will assist in locating the right state park and or trails to meet each individual’s wants and needs.
